Full-Time Recirculation Pumps

Full time hot water recirculating pumps constantly run. They keep hot water slowly running to each faucet. They are the least expensive style unit. You can improve their energy efficiency by adding a timer. The timer runs the pumps during the hours you expect to need hot water. The pumps with timers are the most common style installed today.

Warm-Water Recirculating Pumps

Warm water recirculating pumps are also called luke-warm recirculating pumps. These pumps slowly pump hot water thru the pipes to keep hot water hot. The pump works when the water in the hot water pipes drops below a specified temperature. Some of these systems allow you to adjust the temperature to turn on the pump. Others are pre-set between 85 degrees and 90 degrees. Most of these pumps also include a timer.

Hot Water Demand Pumps

The on-demand recirculating pumps are the most energy efficient type system. These pumps only operate when you activate the system. These systems rush hot water to that faucet. They are triggered when you press a button or a motion detector notices your presence. These systems are the most expensive as a motion detector must be added.

Woke up this morning to a semi- flooded garage. The water heater decided to go out in the middle of having all of my family over for vacation. I read a few reviews and decided to call R&R Plumbing. I called at 6:40am and was greeted with a friendly voice.  By 8:15, they were in my driveway. A brand new water heater was completely installed before 10am. I seriously thought it was going to be a long day. Thanks to R&R Plumbing we are back to enjoying our day. The prices were great. The service was great. The overall experience was awesome. Thanks!!

My water heater broke on Friday night just right before Memorial Holiday weekend. I knew it would be hard to get it replaced right away. Since I have three young kids and wife with arthritis I got to have it done. I called multiple murrieta plumbers. R&R gave me the best quote. Unfortunately their schedule was booked for the entire weekend. I might have to wait until Tuesday. The next morning I emailed the owner, Ryan. I told him the situation. A few minute later he called me back. He assured me that he would help me out. He would squeeze me into the schedule. He called an employee that was supposedly scheduled to be off this weekend just to help. A few hours later, Ryan (the technician) show up at my door. He installed the 75 gallons Bradford-White water heater. Ryan made sure everything works properly before he left.

Thank you Ryan (owner) and Ryan (technician). Not only your quote is the best, your work and your caring is extraordinary. Thank you again.

If I could give this place more stars, I would. From the initial communication, to the on-site service, I can’t be more satisfied.

I had my water heater serviced by R&R and to make a long story short (Because nobody got time for that!) I had a hard time getting the correct part (thermocouple assembly) for my Rheem water heater. Rheem’s warranty replacement was not helpful. During my back and forth with Rheem’s warranty service, R&R made multiple visits to my house. They didn’t charge me extra for each visit. They kept coming back until I got my water heater up and running.

Shout out to Dan and the owner Ryan! Honest and great service. Can’t ask for more!
